I’m a Peruvian-born Canadian, living and learning in North Carolina. I began my foray into the world of Canadian politics early. I worked on 3 campaigns for the Honorable Susan Whelan, former Ontario MP, which gave me the unique opportunity to meet and discuss then current politics with now Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the first year he earned his elected position in Papineau. In high school, I was a chosen member of the Students’ Assembly on Electoral Reform (SAER), and was one of five members who presented SAER’s findings to the Citizen’s Assembly on Electoral Reform.
I couldn’t stay out of it, so in 2012, I volunteered for the DNC in Charlotte, NC.
I’m a wife, mother, writer, researcher and… the rest is yet to be determined.
Feel free to drop me a line!
